Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Knight Squad Academy (“Knight Squad Academy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you:
- visit or use our websites and online portals;
- register for or attend our training programs;
- register for or sit for our certification exams;
- purchase vouchers or other related products and services; and
- contact us for support or other enquiries.
Our training offerings and certification services are independent of each other. You may take a training course without registering for a certification exam, and you may register for a certification exam without purchasing training. This policy applies to your information in both cases.
Data we collect
The type of information we collect depends on how you interact with us. We aim to collect only what we need to provide our services and meet our legal obligations.
- Identity & contact details: full name, email address, phone number, and (where provided) organization or company name.
- Billing & order details: billing address, country, postcode, purchased items (such as trainings, certifications, or vouchers), amounts paid, currency, and order status.
- Payment information: card payments are processed securely by Stripe, and local mobile payments in Bangladesh are processed via bKash. We do not store full card numbers or bKash PINs on our systems. We receive limited payment information from our payment partners, such as transaction ID, payment method, payment status, last digits of the card, and similar metadata.
- Training & certification data: information related to your enrolment in training (e.g., courses attended, dates, completion status) and your certification journey (e.g., exam registrations, results, and issued certificates).
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, and other standard technical information collected when you visit our website. This may include approximate location derived from your IP address and information collected via cookies or similar technologies.
- Communications & support: messages and attachments you send to us by email, contact forms, or support channels, and the information we need to respond to and track these communications.
Payments and billing: To process your payments, we share necessary billing details (such as your name, email, phone, billing address, and country) with our payment providers Stripe (for card payments) and bKash (for local Bangladeshi mobile payments). These providers handle your payment information in line with their own security standards and privacy policies.
How we use your data
We use your personal information only for clear and lawful purposes. These include:
- Providing our services: to create and manage your account, register you for trainings and certifications, and deliver the services you have requested.
- Processing orders and payments: to process your purchases, issue invoices and receipts, confirm payments, and manage refunds or disputes.
- Customer support: to answer your questions, handle requests, and provide technical or administrative support.
- Service communications: to send important information about your account or services, such as booking confirmations, schedule changes, exam information, or policy updates.
- Improving our offerings: to understand how our website, trainings, and certifications are used so that we can improve content, quality, and user experience.
- Security and fraud prevention: to protect our users, our services, and our payment systems by detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access. This may include using IP addresses and technical data for security checks.
- Legal and compliance purposes: to keep accounting records, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Marketing (where allowed): to send you updates about new trainings, certifications, or offers if you have opted in or where applicable law allows. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or a region with similar rules, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:
- Performance of a contract — when processing is necessary to provide the services you request, such as delivering trainings or certification exams, managing your account, and processing your payments.
- Legitimate interests — when processing is needed for our reasonable business interests, such as improving our services, ensuring security, preventing fraud, and managing our relationship with you, and where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation — when we must process your data to comply with laws, regulations, or court orders, for example with respect to tax and accounting rules.
- Consent — when you have given us clear permission to process your data for specific purposes, such as receiving certain marketing communications or using optional cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including:
- for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle queries or disputes;
- for as long as required to provide proof of your trainings and certifications, where applicable;
- for as long as necessary to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
When data is no longer needed, we will either securely delete it or anonymize it so that it can no longer be linked back to you.
Security
We take the security of your information seriously. We use a combination of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures include access controls, secure configuration of our systems, and encryption in transit where appropriate.
However, no method of transmitting data over the internet or storing it electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We continuously review and improve our security practices, but we cannot promise absolute security.
International transfers
Knight Squad Academy is based in Bangladesh, but some of our service providers may be located in other countries. This means your personal data may be transferred to or stored in a country that may have different data protection rules than your home country.
When we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to protect it, such as using data protection agreements, standard contractual clauses, or other safeguards required by law.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — to request that we delete your data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your data in specific situations.
- Objection — to object to certain types of processing, such as direct marketing.
- Portability — to ask for your data in a structured, commonly used format so that you can reuse it or transfer it to another organization, where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent — to withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent.
To exercise your rights, please email us at support@knightsquad.academy . We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
Children’s privacy
Our services are primarily intended for adults and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or a higher age where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below this age.
If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us using the details below. We will review the situation and take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or in applicable laws. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If we make changes that meaningfully affect your rights or how we use your data, we may provide additional notice, such as by email or by showing a notice on our website.
