Our story
Knight Squad Academy grew out of Knight Squad—our cybersecurity community founded by Md. Moniruzzaman Prodhan (NomanProdhan) on January 20, 2020. From the beginning, Knight Squad focused on learning-by-doing, with free sessions and workshops to help learners build practical fundamentals. The community still exists today, and continues to support learners through events and initiatives.
In 2022, we expanded our community activities by launching two CTF competitions: KnightCTF and BDSec CTF. We continue to organize both annually to encourage hands-on problem solving and collaboration. KnightCTF was also the first international CTF hosted from Bangladesh, and we’re proud to have started that effort.
Knight Squad Academy is the next step of that journey—built to offer structured training and certifications while keeping the same practical approach. Our core team stays active in real security work such as penetration testing, VAPT, DFIR, and vulnerability research, so our content and assessments remain grounded in real-world workflows.
Our mission
Our mission is to make cybersecurity learning and certification practical, affordable, and industry-relevant. We focus on clear instruction and assessments that reflect real workflows, so learners can build real skills and validate them confidently. When possible, we also support learners through initiatives like free workshops and limited certification vouchers.
Responsible security
We follow responsible disclosure practices and focus on improving security outcomes. Our research and testing are handled with care, and we coordinate findings with relevant parties when needed. When appropriate, validated issues are documented publicly, including CVEs.
