Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, platforms, and services operated by Knight Squad Academy (“Knight Squad Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These include certification exams, exam and gift vouchers, instructor-led training, digital resources, and related support (collectively, the “Services”).

Knight Squad Academy is supported by a distributed, online-first team. Services and support are coordinated online, while selected in-person training may be delivered at a partner campus or at a requesting organization’s campus or premises.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

You may use the Services only if you:

• are at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction;
• have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required;
• provide accurate information and use the Services in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization and that it accepts responsibility for your use.

Some Services require a learner account. You are responsible for the information and activity associated with that account.

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Keep your credentials confidential and do not allow another person to use your account.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account or voucher has been accessed without authorization.
• Use one personal identity for training and certification records unless we approve another arrangement.

We may suspend or close an account that contains materially inaccurate information, is misused, or is connected to suspected fraud, security abuse, or exam misconduct.

Prices, currencies, and payment methods may vary by product or region. The applicable amount and available payment options are shown before you confirm an order.

• By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
• You authorize us and our payment providers to process the full order amount.
• You are responsible for bank fees, conversion fees, taxes, or similar charges imposed by your provider where applicable.
• Card payments may be processed by Stripe, and local mobile payments in Bangladesh may be processed by bKash.
• We do not store full card numbers or bKash PINs on our systems.

• A later price reduction, promotion, scholarship, or free offer does not create a right to a refund, credit, or price adjustment for an earlier purchase.
• Missing a scheduled session, allowing a voucher to expire, or choosing not to use a Service does not create an automatic right to a refund.
• A chargeback or payment dispute submitted dishonestly may result in account restriction while the matter is investigated.

We may change prices, add new Services, or discontinue an offering. A change does not alter a completed purchase, but future orders will follow the terms displayed at checkout.

When you enroll in training or register for an exam, you agree to follow the instructions, scheduling rules, code of conduct, and integrity requirements provided for that Service.

• Complete identity verification and any permitted proctoring or monitoring steps required for an exam.
• Do not receive unauthorized assistance, impersonate another person, or share non-public exam content.
• Use labs, systems, and targets only within the authorization and scope provided.
• Follow applicable rescheduling, cancellation, no-show, voucher-validity, and retake rules.
• Ensure your profile name is correct before completing an exam or requesting a certificate.

We may update course content, exam objectives, structure, scoring, pass marks, or certification requirements to protect quality, relevance, and integrity. Unless we explicitly promise otherwise, completing training or earning a certification does not guarantee employment, promotion, income, or another specific result.

You must not use the Services to:

• violate applicable law, regulation, authorization boundaries, or third-party rights;
• copy, publish, sell, or distribute non-public exam questions, answers, solutions, or materials;
• circumvent identity checks, proctoring, access controls, voucher restrictions, or security measures;
• access accounts, infrastructure, systems, or data without permission;
• upload malware or code intended to disrupt, damage, or compromise the Services;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse learners, instructors, staff, or partners;
• resell or transfer an account, course access, voucher, or certificate unless the offer expressly permits it.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including a warning, invalidating an attempt, restricting access, revoking a credential, imposing a future ban, or making a lawful report where appropriate.

Unless stated otherwise, our branding, course materials, lab content, exam content, software, website content, and related resources are owned by Knight Squad Academy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

• You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use purchased Services for their intended learning or certification purpose.
• You may not reproduce, scrape, distribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative products from protected materials without prior written permission.
• Third-party names, trademarks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally compatible access. We are not responsible for disruption caused by your internet connection, device configuration, third-party platform, or another circumstance outside our reasonable control.

Cybersecurity techniques must be used only in lawful, authorized environments. Educational content does not grant permission to test or access any third-party system.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knight Squad Academy and its directors, personnel, instructors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data arising from the Services.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the specific Service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for that Service during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knight Squad Academy and its affiliates, directors, personnel, instructors, and partners from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, material violation of these Terms, or infringement of a third party’s rights.

We may suspend or terminate access where:

• you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms or another applicable policy;
• we reasonably suspect fraud, exam misconduct, unauthorized access, or a security risk;
• we must act to comply with law or a competent authority;
• continuing access could harm users, partners, our systems, or the integrity of a Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the affected Services ends. Provisions intended by their nature to survive—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law—remain effective.

We may update these Terms as our Services, operational requirements, or applicable law change. We will revise the “Last reviewed” date and provide additional notice when appropriate for a material change.

Updated Terms apply from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to an update, you must stop using the affected Services.

These Terms and disputes relating to them or the Services are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to mandatory rights available under applicable law, the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue.
