Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, platforms, and services operated by Knight Squad Academy (“Knight Squad Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including certification exams, voucher purchases, live and online training, and related support (collectively, the “Services”).

Knight Squad Academy operates as a remote-first, decentralized training and certification provider. We do not maintain a walk-in physical office for learners. Our team members work from their own locations, and we coordinate through virtual offices and online tools. Support is provided primarily through email and other remote channels.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

Our training programs and certification exams are independent offerings. Purchasing or attending training does not automatically include certification exam access, and purchasing a certification exam does not automatically include training, unless we clearly say so in the specific offer.

Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you:

• are at least the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (typically 13+);
• have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and
• use the Services in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf and that the organization accepts responsibility for your use of the Services.

Accounts & security

To access certain features (such as exam registration, training enrollment, and certificate management), you may need to create an account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that are inaccurate, misused, or in violation of these Terms, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or exam misconduct.

Purchases, pricing & payments

We offer paid Services such as certification vouchers, exam registrations, live or online training, and other products. Prices, currencies, and available payment methods may vary by region and may change over time.

• By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the full amount of the order.
• All applicable fees, taxes, and charges will be shown to you before you confirm a purchase.
• You are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or similar charges applied by your payment provider.
• Our card payments are processed by third-party providers such as Sripe, and local mobile payments in Bangladesh are processed by providers such as bKash. We do not store full card numbers or bKash PINs on our systems.
• Training programs and certification exams are separate products. Buying one does not entitle you to the other unless the offer clearly includes both.

• We do not offer refunds or price adjustments if the price of a Service later decreases, goes on promotion, or is discounted after you purchase.
• If we later offer the same or similar certification, training, or bundle for free (for example, as part of a marketing campaign, scholarship, or limited-time promotion), this does not entitle you to a refund, credit, or compensation for any amount you previously paid.
• If you do not attend a scheduled training, fail to schedule an exam within its validity period, or otherwise do not use a purchased Service, this does not change the non-refundable nature of the purchase.

We may change our prices, introduce new Services, or discontinue existing ones at any time. Changes do not affect completed purchases, but future purchases will be at the updated prices and conditions.

Training, exams & certification

Our training programs and certification exams are designed to help you build and validate skills in security and related technical domains. However, they are separate and independent offerings:

• Purchasing or attending a training program does not automatically include a certification exam or voucher, unless this is explicitly stated.
• Purchasing a certification exam or voucher does not automatically include any training or coaching from us, unless a bundle clearly states otherwise.

When you register for an exam or join a training, you agree to follow all rules we provide, including scheduling instructions, code of conduct, and any additional policies shared at the time of registration.

• You must follow all exam rules, identity verification steps, and (where applicable) online proctoring or monitoring requirements.
• Any attempt to cheat, share exam content, impersonate another person, or compromise exam integrity may result in exam invalidation, suspension or revocation of certifications, bans from future exams, and, where appropriate, legal action.
• We may modify exam content, structure, scoring, pass marks, and certification requirements at any time to maintain quality, relevance, and integrity.
• Completion of a course, lab, or exam does not guarantee any job, promotion, or specific outcome.
• Rescheduling, no-show, and cancellation rules (including any fees or loss of eligibility) will be communicated in the exam or training instructions and form part of these Terms.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Services to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
• share, publish, sell, or distribute exam questions, answers, solutions, or any non-public exam materials;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent exam security measures, identity checks, or proctoring systems;
• access or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
• upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or any content that could disrupt the Services;
• harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users, staff, or partners; or
• engage in any activity that, in our reasonable opinion, damages or risks the integrity of our Services, exams, or reputation.

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including warnings, suspension, permanent bans, revocation of certifications, reporting to employers or authorities (where appropriate), and legal action.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content, branding, course materials, lab content, exam questions, software, and other elements of the Services are owned by Knight Squad Academy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

• You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your own learning and certification purposes.
• You may not copy, distribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works from our course or exam content without our prior written permission.
• All trademarks, logos, and service marks remain the property of their respective owners, and nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use them without permission.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that specific results (such as job placement, salary increase, or passing an exam) will follow from obtaining a certification or completing training.

As a remote-first organization, our Services and support are primarily delivered online and by email. We are not responsible for issues caused by your internet connection, local device configuration, or other factors outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knight Squad Academy and its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services will be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the 6 months prior to the event; or (b) the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Knight Squad Academy and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination & suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if:

• you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms or other applicable policies;
• we reasonably suspect fraud, exam misconduct, or security risks linked to your account;
• we are required to do so by law or a competent authority; or
• we discontinue or materially modify the relevant Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease, including access to future exams or trainings already scheduled, where permitted by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, via email or in-product banners).

Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Services.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local law, you agree that the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh will have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
